Fall

We are sure injoying the beautiful fall leaves back in PA. It seems our time has been consumed with football. Camden and Silas have been playing since August but had great seasons and learned so much about the game and about discipline. Cam can't wait til next season but Silas is torn between playing football again or going back to soccer - his first love.

Way too long!

It is hard to believe that over 8 months have passed since my last blog update. We have since moved (sorta - 95% of our belongings are still in Mesa) back to Pennsylvania after Jamie took his old job back in Lancaster. For all my wonderful family in Kansas and missed friends in AZ I promise to do a better job of "blogging" so that you can keep us with our beautiful but very crazy family. We love you all and miss you so much!!

Concert

While listening to K-Love last week we heard that one of our most favorite bands, Third Day, was going to put on a free concert at City of Grace Church last night. Thank goodness we decided to go early! We arrived (all seven of us) about fifteen minutes before the doors were to open and the line was already wrapped around three sides of the church and had goosnecked and was heading back to the front. We are all taking bets at what chance we had to get in - it didn't look too good at that point. We found out that they were only letting in 2000 people and after about 40 minutes of "crawling" towards the door we received our wrist bands. We were somewhere around the 1800's - it was all worth it. Tenth Avenue North opened and they were fantastic. Mike and Sherry were there from K-love, also. It was great - the band shared alot of personal stuff and sang some great songs including some from their new CD that released this week, "Revelation." I love Mac Powell's voice - he is my all-time most favorite artist. Afterward, Jamie, Silas, and Sage waited in line and the band autographed their new CD for us - what a great night of worship and fun. On the way home we stopped off at Mickey D's for a midnight snack of milkshakes and french fries - our favorite!
